DENVER 9:43 A.M.: I'm at the California press breakfast, and unfortunately missed a press conference beforehand with Senator Barbara Boxer. But never mind ... she just told the crowd what they asked her: like Nancy Pelosi, all they wanted to know was how “divided” Democrats are with bitter Hillary Clinton supporters. Incredibly, they're still saying this -- even after Hillary's rousing speech yesterday. “They just don't get it,” said Boxer. “They have a story line, but I want us to all shout loud and clear so the press can hear it: we are united behind Obama!” Senator John Kerry followed, and gave a passionate speech about how much worse things have gone in the last four years. “It's unacceptable that in every major issue of our time, we are going backwards - not forwards." I always wish that Kerry had this kind of passion when he ran four years ago ... but now all we can do (as Kerry said) is to “galvanize people together.”
