To the Editor:

I will not be listening to KBLX anymore. Cousin Kevin has played a very important role in the Bay Area for years and nothearing him in the just sucks. So,you KBLX said bye to cousin Kev. We, the people, say bye to KBLX too.

To the Editor:

Thank you for the information contained in this article. I realized that Kevin Brown morning show was no longer on air last week. Didn't realize until reading this that he'd been fired. I listen to KBLX in the morning during my one hour commute from Hayward to Santa Clara. It was a wonderful, informative, and entertaining show. Even my co-workers knew the show (non-African American).

When tuning in this week, I heard excerpts from the Steve Harvey show and realized that their wishing birthdays to people who lived on the East Coast would be the end of my loyalty to this station. I could care less about folks on the East Coast -- I live here in the Bay Area and am concerned about what's going on in my area. I want to listen to a local broadcast on my morning radio show. I also tuned in on Sunday and there was no Bobby Jones countdown that I usually hear on my way to church! Guess I'll move on to 98.1 KISS FM as my regular and favorite radio station. Very sad what they've done to Kevin Brown.
