I’ve asked a lot of bloggers at Netroots Nation who they believe Barack Obama should pick as a running mate. While most have given the conventional response (Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius), a good number have suggested General Wesley Clark. His speech on Thursday drew a warm welcome, and it’s clear the Netroots has counted him as one of their own. But traditional pundits say that Clark killed his chance on June 29th
when he told CBS’s
Face the Nation that “riding in a fighter plane and getting shot down is not a qualification [for John McCain] to be President.” Matt Stoller of OpenLeft.com argues that Obama should pick Clark (
