Totally agree about Occupy's future. Things are a bit disorganized in Northeastern Minnesota. Occupy Duluth's Facebook page did not list their May 1 event and I sent two emails to addresses given and received no reply ... stating i would come May Day or to May 3 foreclosure action at Wells Fargo.

Occupy is a big story, whether the mainstream media chooses to recognize it as such or not. Randy Shaw's advice is well-intentioned, but has an air of insider smugness that seems familiar to this reader. Advice is cheap and easy, organizing a movement is not. Instead of carping on the perceived faults and lacks of the Occupy activists, the press on the left (where I maybe naively believed Beyond Chron resides) should focus on the amazing spread of Occupy's ideas through the 99% of the population it represents. This is the real story that should be reported; the nitpicking can be left to the right wingnuts.
