The North-of-Market/Tenderloin
Community Benefit District (CBD) is a main reason why things are on the up in the neighborhood, and it now finally has a permanent office. After property owners voted in 2005 to
create the District, the Tenderloin has had enhanced street sweeping and graffiti removal – while the CBD Board sponsors community events like “Concerts at the Cadillac” and “Santa Sightings.” The Board is also active in promoting the neighborhood’s new
historic designation – along with efforts to open a
Tenderloin History Museum. Join us
tonight from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at our new office –
134 Golden Gate Avenue – for an Opening Reception. Artist
Patricia Araujo and photographer
Mark Ellinger will have their work on display, along with Ellinger’s book release. Please R.S.V.P. District Manager Elaine Zamora at
