President Barack Obama is out fighting the good fight! Definitely off his game during the first Debate with GOP Presidential nominee Mitch Romney, but back out there the next day fighting the good fight - to win reelection !

The President was In town Monday to reap more cash for his campaign! Significantly, a visit to Central California to formally announce the establishment of the Cesar E. Chavez National Monument at the National Chavez Center in Keene (Kern County).

I don’t know how The President has kept up his strength and enthusiasm, week after week, campaigning, flying around the country, talking to the people, encouraging them not to give up on him, and working long hours in the White House Oval office as Commander-Chief ! I would believe exhausting! You have to love the job! Each appearance he comes out swinging - flashing that charming smile, cool swagger! Amazing!

Don’t change horses in mid stream - with only 28 days left, the choice is between Obama or Romney - who is for the RICH, not the everyday working men and women; seniors; Romney would cut Sesame Street’s BIG BIRD and PBS!

GET out the vote on November 6. If the Election had been held days after the debate, President Obama would have lost! Like most, shocked - he looked tired, laid back, confident but not passionate as he should have been in his approach - conversational, while Romney fiercely attacked his record! Wanted to hear President Obama get on Romney’s case about the “47 percent,” speech which showed his contempt for tens of million Americans - insulted seniors recent financial and medical support through the Social Security and Medicare programs which they paid for during their working lives; Veterans accepting medical care at Veterans Administration hospitals and clinics. Young men and women especially, put their dreams on hold to fight for this country .

KEEP ON PUSHING MR. PRESIDENT! Hopefully, after you’ve won, a short getaway to celebrate you and First Lady Michelle’s 20th Anniversary!

SPORTS TALK - WHAT happened to the GIANTS??? DUSTY BAKER and the Cincinnati Reds came to town, dashed Giants hopes of beating them in the first National League Division Series (3 out of 5} last weekend at AT&T Park - SHOCKED they lost both games - shut out Sunday!

Giants are in a predicament! The team hit the road Monday, In Cincinnati, down 2 - threatened with elimination! Column deadline Tuesday before the game - SOOOO, in order to survive at least one more day, they had to WIN!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE OAKLAND A’S, who clinched their American League Division. First game on the road against the Detroit Tigers last weekend, down 2, back home, played last night. The A’s have a chance to be victorious because they have a good home record of winning, So, will they take all three games?

Tuesday night was definitely a night of baseball drama for the Bay Area!

HEY, IT’S NICE TO BE NICE AND TO ALL OF YOU OUT THERE...LOOK FOR ME...I'LL BE THERE...
