Dear Editor:

In response to Mr. Melbostad's article of Dec. 11th, 2007, I would urge Mr. Melbostad to run for the Milk Board. I think it is high time for all those folks who have been critical of the Milk Club's endorsement process to just get more involved with the Club and seek office on the Club's Board.

I do think that if there had been less complaining about the Club's process, the Club's Board and the Club's bylaws and more organizing on behalf of Assemblymember Leno's candidacy there very well may have been a different outcome at all of the Milk Club's recent meetings and votes.

So I urge all members that are dissatisfied to organize, organize, organize. I urge them to run for the Board. I urge them to attend every meeting as possible. I urge them to get involved in the Club's caucuses and attend the Club's events. If you want to change things stop complaining and get involved.
