Subject: SF Moves To Replace Residents With Tourists

Dear Randy,

Can you really be surprised by this? There is so much money to be made right now that the politicians aren’t going to enforce this no matter what and the reason is quite simple, it is not in their best interests to do so.

Come on Randy the waterfront is for sale, the skyline is for sale to the bidder who will grease the right palms and the amount of grease available is more then the politicians can ignore so please don’t be surprised when the rental housing stock is for sale as well.

We saw it in the first dot com, long time residents and businesses were being kicked to the curb let right and center because the landlords simply could not ignore someone offering 10 times what the current tenant was paying!

This is dot com part 2 and the exact same thing is happening. Where but in San Francisco or Manhattan can a landlord get $4000.00 a month for a 2 bedroom apartment? We are giving away the treasury by letting dot coms move into buildings in downtown and forgiving gross income tax and payroll tax to companies where those at the top are getting 7 figure salaries!
