AS THE ENGLISH MIGHT SAY – IT’S A CRACKLING LITTLE GEM — IN THE LOOP IS

Speaking about getting ‘Loopy” – be sure to catch the flicker “In The Loop” which is in English. Well, I’m not surprised, since it is an ENGLISH FILM. Political nuts will just go gaga over this terrific comic thriller with all kinds of twists and turns. And the “Twists” don’t always turn. Sleeping with the right person is always the right move in politics. The movie is based on the hit British show “The Thick of20it”.

James Gandolfini plays the U.S General. And as usual his big balls drag the floor. Now playing at Landmark Theatres. Funny as hell! Now if only the English would talk slower. RATING: THREE BOXES OF POPCORN !!! -trademarked-

Starring brilliant character actor Estelle Parsons at the Curran Theatre

Its finally made it here after being hailed and adored on ‘Broadway’. This Tracy Letts play is a triumph and it is utterly compelling. I think you will want to reward yourself by going. The play is in the perfect Theater, the Curran. It was built for this kind of play. See you there?

UP NEXT AT THE BOXCAR THEATRE IS A NEW VERSION OF ROMEO AND JULIET CALLED ‘ROMEO & JULIAN’. THEY SAY THAT THEY ARE DARING AND AFFORDABLE THEATR E. Well, I guess they are right, cause Julian will be played by a cross dresser.
